Croatia welcomes you with beautiful blue skies and smiles just as wide!
The historic city of Zagreb is the focal point of the second edition of the Croatia International Choir Festival. Performances, workshops and activities will take place at different locations throughout the city over a 4 day period. Choirs will be given opportunities to present individual and joint performances culminating in a gala performance at the „Blagoje Bersa“ music hall at the Zagreb Academy of Music .
The Festival also provides participating choirs with a variety of performance and tour opportunities throughout Croatia before and after the core Festival events in Zagreb. We encourage all groups to speak with us about enhancing your Festival experience and getting the most out of your visit to Croatia. We want to give everyone an experience to remember!
All of the festival choirs will showcase their own repertoire with performances in a variety of venues, including the Concert Hall at the „Blagoje Bersa“ in the Zagreb Academy of Music and historic churches throughout Zagreb. Singers will also have the opportunity to participate in workshop experiences with some of Croatia’s leading choral experts. Like most festivals, cultural exchange is very important and during the festival choirs will have the chance to meet and engage with each other through social and music interaction culminating with a joint performance onstage of one or two pieces at the end of the Gala Concert. Of course participants will also have free time to enjoy all the city of Zagreb has to offer.
